Land & Resource Management

RESPONSIBILITIES OF LAND AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:

Oversees and manages: the various land uses within Douglas County

Regulates and enforces:

• Land Use, Subdivision, and Solid Waste of ordinances,
• Subdivisions/Land and Splits
• Shoreland
• Septic Systems
• Feed Lots/Agriculture
• Land Use and Zoning 
• Contractor licenses
• Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS)

 

The Land & Resource Management Office is on the first floor of the Douglas County Courthouse. There is public parking available on the southwest side of the Courthouse. Entering the building from this parking lot, there is an elevator in the lobby to take you to the first floor. Or if you prefer, go up the short flight of stairs and our office is located on the right.
