Park description:
Wayside Park is located at 4849 County Hwy 82 NW Alexandria, MN 56308. This park right off County Road 82 is a historic wayside rest that was built as a public works project in the 1930’s. This 7-acre park has a little over 1,000 foot of Lake Brophy shoreline, perfect for fishing. With ample green space, picnic tables, water access, playground, and fire rings, it is a great spot to pull over and take a break or have an afternoon picnic.
