Case Details:

On 5/19/2026 at 1945 hours, Deputies responded to 6981 Violet Dr SW in Holmes City Township for a house fire. When Deputies arrived, there were visible flames coming from within the house. The Alexandria Fire Department was dispatched to the scene as well. Mutual aid was requested, and the Kensington Fire Department, Brandon Fire Department, and the Garfield Fire Department responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished and the house suffered severe damage. Due to the amount of damage, the State Fire Marshal’s Office was requested to assist with the investigation. The Holmes City First Responders and North Ambulance also responded to the scene. No one was injured. The case remains under investigation.
