Case Details:
On November 14, 2022 at about 10:44 AM the Douglas County Sheriff's Office received multiple 911 calls that the Corral in Nelson was on fire. The Osakis Fire Department was paged to respond and when Douglas County Deputies arrived heavy smoke and visible flames were observed. Osakis Fire quickly requested mutual aid from the Alexandria Fire Department, and then from the Carlos and Forada Fire Departments. The State Fire Marshal's office also responded for assistance. The building is a complete loss and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. North Ambulance was on scene as a precaution.
