Complainant/Victim: Carley Nora Noetzelman, Age 36 of Garfield, MN
Case Details:
On 12-17-2025 at 11:51 AM, Deputies responded to a report of a barn fire at 4136 Utopia Drive NW. The caller stated there were no visible flames but he could see smoke. Upon Deputies arrival, there was visible smoke and flames. The Garfield fire department arrived on scene and successfully exthinguished the fire. The barn is a complete loss and numerous animals were lost to the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no foul play is suspected. There were no injuries reported from this incident. Assisting the Douglas County Sheriff's Office were the Garfield Fire Department, Alexandria Fire Department, Brandon Fire Department, and North Memorial Ambulance.
