Location: 17866 Co Rd 16 NW, Evansville, MN
Complainant/Victim: Randy Joseph Bitzan, age 50, of Evansville, MN
Case Details:
On 12/13/2025 at approximately 0106 AM Douglas County Dispatch received a call from the homeowner at 17866 County Road16 NW stating that his storage shed was on fire. Once Douglas County Deputies arrived on scene, the entire shed was engulfed in flames. The homeowner did not receive any injuries from the incident and was safe. Millerville Fire Department responded to the scene and determined the structure was a complete loss. All items inside the shed were also a complete loss; no other structures sustained any damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation; however, no foul play is suspected.
