Complainant/Victim: Douglas Hale, age 63 of Alexandria, MN
Case Details:
On 3/19/2026 at 1624 hours, the Forada Fire Department was dispatch to a garage fire at 9620 Childs Lake Rd SE in Hudson Township. Deputies were the first to arrive on scene and verified the garage was detached from the residence and was fully engulfed in flames. The fire was starting to spread to a nearby by building and woods. The Alexandria Fire Department assisted the Forada Fire Department in extinguishing efforts. North Ambulance and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources also responded to scene. The cause of the fire is unknown, but it is not believed to be suspicious. This case remains under investigation.
