Case Details:
On 03/25/2026 at 1817 hours, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Alexandria Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Bluffs Rd NW near the County Rd 11 intersection in Carlos Township. When responding units arrived on scene, it was determined the driver was safe, and the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. The Alexandria Fire Department extinguished the fire, and the vehicle was a total loss. The cause of the fire is not suspicious. No one was injured on scene. Temporary road closures were in place until the fire department cleared the scene.
