Case Details:
On 2/20/2024 at 1139 the Douglas County Sheriff's Office received a call from Diann Guenther stating that a large fire was starting to spread in the yard and was getting close to the house. The Brandon Fire department was dispatched and upon arrival proceeded to put out the fire on the yard and the flames that had started to consume the home. Ultimately the fire was put out and no injuries were reported. Unfortunately the fire had claimed a large portion of the home. The fire is not under suspicion of malicious intent. The Douglas County Sheriff's office was assisted by the Brandon Fire Department, and North Ambulance.
